Dr. Justin Moon, MD, MPH

Dr. Justin S. Moon most recently comes from the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He is a native of Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up as the son of a steelworker. After putting himself through college with a Bachelor of Science in Cell Biology, he completed a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) and his Doctorate of Medicine (M.D.) at the University of Arizona. He completed his internship and neurology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Moon is a board-certified Neurologist. He is nationally recognized as a leading Neurological Specialist, researcher, and educator.
As a clinical researcher, he performs clinical trials on cutting edge medications. Dr. Moon is also an industry consultant assisting on the development of medical therapeutics for Fortune 500 companies. He is a consultant physician to University of Denver Pioneers NCAA teams, Bellator Mixed Martial Arts, NFL BAP program, and a former consultant to the Colorado Avalanche.
Dr. Moon is a consummate teacher and takes special pride in medical education. Over his storied career, he has had the pleasure of training residents, medical students, nurses, and physician assistants as well as many of his medical assistants who have gone on to varied careers within healthcare. Carolyn Herbert, DNP, AGNP-C, RN
Carolyn Herbert
is a doctorate prepared board certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over eight years of nursing experience caring for patients in the field of Neurology. Carolyn spent most of her nursing career working at Mayo Clinic Hospital in Arizona where she became particularly passionate about stroke and stroke prevention. She is also particularly interested in headache disorders but sees all general neurology patients. She is certified in Botox administration for chronic migraine and is trained to do occipital nerve blocks as well.
Carolyn
is originally from Southern California where her parents still reside. She attended
Grand Canyon University for her Bachelor of Nursing degree and
Arizona State University for her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. She moved to Colorado in 2021 with her fiancé and 2 dogs for a more outdoorsy lifestyle. In her free time, she enjoys off-roading in her Jeep, watching movies and playing with her dogs.
Carrie Sowell MSN, FNP-C, CCRN
Carrie Sowell is a board-certified nurse practitioner with a background in critical care and a strong focus on outpatient neurology. Carrie brings extensive experience from cardiac and medical intensive care units, where she managed complex, critically ill patients and advanced technologies. In the outpatient setting, she is committed to providing thoughtful, evidence-based care while taking the time to listen to each patient's concerns and goals.
Carrie values education, collaboration, and clear communication, and strives to empower patients to better understand their neurological health and treatment options.
She is originally from Florida and is excited to now call Colorado home, where she enjoys the mountain views and hiking with her husband and dog.
Linda Hollyman, MSN, FNP-C
Linda Hollyman received both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Nursing from Regis University. She has held both Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) and Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) board certifications.
Linda's entire nursing career has been dedicated to neurology. Before moving into the out-patient setting, she worked at Swedish Medical Center on the stroke and epilepsy unit. Linda is passionate about dementia care and the advances that are being made in the treatment of Alzheimer's disease.
She is insatiably curious and dedicated to lifelong learning to provide high-quality and individualized care to her patients. As a Colorado native, Linda enjoys skiing and hiking with her husband and four children.
